Questions worth asking
Including the commercial ones most operators would rather you saved for a call. Ask us anything that isn't here.
Cost
- What does this cost us?
- Nothing. Not the cooler, not the delivery, not the stock, not the repairs, and not taking it away again if you decide you'd rather not have it. The only things you provide are a standard outlet and the floor space it stands on.
- So how do you make money?
- From what people buy. That's the whole model, and it's why we're careful about which sites we take on. A cooler in the wrong place earns nobody anything. If we think your site is too small to work, we'll tell you instead of installing one and letting it sit there.
- Isn't our snack budget tax-deductible anyway?
- Possibly not anymore. The federal deduction for break-room snacks and drinks an employer hands out free changed on January 1, 2026, and a lot of companies are looking again at what the pantry costs them. A cooler costs you nothing instead, and your people still get something on site. It's worth ten minutes with your accountant though. We run coolers, we're not tax advisors, and your situation might not be the common one.
Using it
- How does it know what I took?
- Cameras inside the cooler watch the shelves and work out what left. You tap a card to unlock the door, take what you want, and shut it. The charge lands a minute or two later and you get a receipt by email. It's right almost every time. When it isn't, forward us the receipt and we'll refund it the same day.
- Can we choose what goes in it?
- Yes, and you should. We start with what usually sells at a site like yours, then change it based on what actually moves and what people ask for. If there's something you'd rather we didn't stock, say so and we won't.
- Won't people just take things?
- Some will. Across the industry it runs at about four percent of sales, and it's our loss rather than yours. It's also why we only place coolers where there's a badge, a front desk, or someone around. If a spot is wide open to the public with nobody watching it, we'll say no to it.
Service
- Who fixes it when it breaks?
- We do, and it never becomes your problem to chase. Every cooler carries a label with a number and a QR code that reaches us directly, so when something goes wrong your staff tell us and not you. We respond within 24 hours, and anyone who loses money gets it back the same day.
- Who actually shows up each week?
- Someone from our route, and it's the same small group rather than whoever was free that morning. They'll know your access arrangement, where the cooler sits, and what runs out first at your site. You'll have a named contact and a direct number, not a dispatch line.
- What if nobody buys anything?
- Then it's doing you no good and we take it out. That's not a threat, it's the deal. We'd rather move it somewhere it earns than leave it in your hallway as a reminder of a bad decision.
The agreement
- We already have a machine. Is that a problem?
- No, and it's often the opposite. If yours is reliably stocked and someone answers when it breaks, keep it. If it's been half-empty since spring, that's exactly the situation this is built for. Either way there's no cost to having the conversation.
- Are you insured?
- Yes, and we'll send a certificate naming your business as additional insured before anything gets delivered. Ask any operator for this. Anyone who hesitates is telling you something.
- How long are we tied in?
- You're not, in any way that matters. There's a written agreement so both sides know where they stand, and either of us can end it with 30 days' notice. We remove the cooler at our expense and leave the space as we found it.

Tell us about your site.
Ten minutes on site tells us whether this works for you. If it doesn't, we'll say so then.
